Artistic Statement : Aymard le Forestier de Quillien has been interested in Art since he was 14 year-old with at first a special attention to crafts. Stained glass and mosaics were his first techniques. He learned a great deal from Artists such as Edmond BOISSONNET, MIRANDE, Pierre THÉRON, and Alfred MANESSIER, who were using these techniques to create their Artworks. Aymard le Forestier de Quillien’s painting is both a slice of his life and life as a whole. Nothing is linear. To the contrary, it is the story of a wandering painting with canvases like words to create an artistic language made of colors. As a result, what interest him the most are shapes and colors. The idea is to share an aesthetic experience like a symphony. Aymard le Forestier de Quillien uses colors as means to contribute in his own way to the make the world a better and more beautiful place. From mastering shapes and matter comes his expression that is on a quest to find truth and goodness.
